President's Message

What we do and say at this time perhaps will soon be forgotten. Yet we hope not, but there is one thing that I know -- we are standing under the bright lights of those who helped make it possible for us to be here and what we do and say will be charged to us. As my mother often said; "Hast thou not known, Hast thou not heard that God, the everlasting Father neither sleeps nor slumber."

I am pleased to say that our friendships were renewed and the impressions formed since our 35th-year reunion continues to mature. We greet each other with a smile and a hug as we laugh, reminisce, fellowship and dine. In other words, we have a 'mini reunion'. There are times when people disappoint us and we revise and reverse the impressions of their character. I haven't revised nor reversed any impressions made, further my renewed memories of you are precious and I will always cherish them.

We are not endowed with the same capabilities but they who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run not to be weary, and they shall walk and not faint. I am not weary nor faint hearted.

Again, thank you for allowing me to serve as your class president. These reunions would not be possible but for the work of You.

Objectives and Vision

Our Objectives

To promote the interests and welfare of Carver High School, its Alumni, and the communities served by Carver HS.
To foster and encourage Carver alumni to maintain ties to Carver HS, educationally, spiritually, and financially.
To honor alumni who have made outstanding contributions to society, the community and local schools.

Our Vision

To create an environment of support and camaraderie among classmates and friends of the Class of '62 . . . forever.

Class Meetings

Class of '62 alumni meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of every other month except August (February, April, June, October and December) throughout the year at various locations. The month of August is reserved for a class trip to various cities of the U.S. and the Americas.
